But Useful is… extremely helpful…
I enjoy being useful (or is it feeling useful?) – I may not always know quite what to do, but I like doing something – especially for others. Sometimes that means manning the kitchen for a friend’s open house, or driving someone to an appointment, or providing a meal. Quite often it is lending an ear while someone vents or thinks through an issue.
I hate feeling useless, but I try to remember this:
No matter how useless you think you are, you are someone’s reason to smile.
Not so useless, after all. 🙂
