My Son

Today I am grateful for my beautiful boy.  It’s his birthday.  He’s given me plenty of headaches and tears of frustration – kids will do that – but they are far surpassed with smiles, laughs, and tears of joy.  He’s growing up to be a clever, engaging, and thoughtful young man, and even though he’s taller than me now, I often look at him and see this instead – a bright-eyed 4-year-old full of mischief.  Well, he’s still bright-eyed and mischievous, so…
