The Kiss

Added this to my manuscript soundtrack after hearing it on Pandora yesterday. I hope you enjoy the clip. It’s from Last of the Mohicans, and I gotta say, though I saw the movie when it came out (twenty-some years ago, and no, I haven’t read the classic book), I honestly don’t remember the story, or this scene (I do remember being devastated when one of the characters dies). But this is compelling composition. The music is simply gorgeous. There’s no need for dialogue in the story-telling – I know just how the characters are feeling, even if I don’t know how they got here. If my writing makes one person feel this without the music, I am one happy author.
